Location & Date:

San Francisco, California – venue tba
Walking distance to Moscone Center (Game Developers Conference)

March 25th, 2009

Women in Games International’s largest event of the year! The GDC Community Mixer offers sponsors tremendous exposure, whether you are promoting a service, product, game release or recruiting.

The Women in Games International Community Mixer series has been created as a community building and networking forum. Each mixer includes icebreaker networking, games, door prizes, sponsor shwag, free drinks and appetizers. The GDC 2009 Mixer will feature all this, and live DJ performances, game stations and other attractions as negotiated with sponsors.

Displays are minimal and limited to approved mixer sponsors and partners. Attendance to all WIGI mixers is free. Some events have limited attendance depending on venue. Average attendance for each event is 50 to 150 attendees, not including sponsors, partners, staff and volunteers.

We expect 300+ attendees for the GDC 2009 event. The GDC 2008 event had space for 150, and the venue was packed for the entire event.
